I am very excited to be able to offer the MS Freedom for the June 18th , 2022, one week Adriatic Cruise. The vessel is one of the company’s newest deluxe yacht sized ships. The MS Freedom has 18 cabins and is ideal for cruising the Adriatic and visiting the islands of Croatia. You will spend your days cruising this magnificent sea. There are two daily “swim stops” (weather permitting) in beautiful coves. Breakfast and lunch are included daily. One evening you will also enjoy a Captain’s Dinner. Late afternoon the ship docks at an island or a city for an excursion. Evenings are free to explore, taste local cuisine and just enjoy being on an island in the Adriatic in June!!!
The cruise will depart from Dubrovnik and end in Split. You will visit several new islands included in the MS Freedom itinerary. Included are all tours, services of a cruise manager, site entrances with guide, Captain’s Dinner, wine, beer or soft drink with lunch.
You will be transferred from Dubrovnik airport or your Dubrovnik hotel to harbor. Embarkation begins at 13:00h. Get settled in your cabin before attending a Welcome Reception 5:00 followed by dinner.
Start the day with a walking tour of Dubrovnik, the “Pearl of Adriatic”. Walk through STRADUN – both a street and a square, the most famous place inside the town walls, the famous city enlisted a UNESCO World Heritage site. Your guide will share with you the most interesting sights of Dubrovnik. After returning to ship enjoy the magic scenery as the ship cruises around Dubrovnik city walls to continue to one of the Elaphiti islands. Afternoon arrival in Slano, a peaceful fishermen’s village our starting point to Ston, once fortified small village famous for its oysters situated on Peljesac Peninsula. Peljesac Peninsula is known for wine-producing in Croatia. After exploring the town, we leave to a small nearby village to enjoy the authentic oyster tasting. Overnight and Dinner in Slano. B L T CD
After breakfast we head north to the Island of Mljet. Join the Cruise Manager for a stroll to the famous salt lakes in the Mljet National Park. Continue our cruise towards the Korčula island best known as the birthplace of Marco Polo. Afternoon arrival in Korčula followed by a guided walking tour of this enchanting town surrounded by walls, which is one of the best-preserved medieval cities in the Mediterranean. Overnight in Korčula. Before dinner you can explore this beautiful town. Enjoy a Croatian gourmet experience at the multiple restaurants and bars. B L
After breakfast we sail to small island Biševo to visit the Blue Cave, a magnificent natural phenomenon. As sometimes weather can be very unpredictable, the possibility of our visit will depend on the conditions, however you will be notified of this on time. Cruise towards the island of Vis, once a strategic Yugoslavian Naval base and restricted to the public. Due to this isolation, Vis has a special charm “the Mediterranean as it once was”. Try some exquisite wine from one of the Vis traditional wineries. Wander the remains of the Roman thermal place, Archeological Museum or explore this unique island. Overnight in the port of Vis. B L
After breakfast we sail to Hvar, the longest and sunniest island in the Adriatic. After lunch we arrive in Hvar town where we will tour the city. You will view the Renaissance cathedral with its original tower, and the oldest community theatre in Europe founded in 1612 and beautiful small quaint streets and alleyways. After the tour set sail towards Stari Grad on the island of Hvar, one of the oldest cities in Europe where we will overnight. B L
Morning departure to the Dalmatian town Trogir. Trogir is sometimes referred to as “Miniature Venice” because of its ancient walls, a floating museum. Trogir has masterful architecture including several stunning Venetian palaces. You will discover the beauty of the Krka National Park and the small access port of Skradin where the flora and fauna are exceptional. Overnight in Trogir. BL
After breakfast you will enjoy guided tour of the ancient town Trogir. Late morning sail to Split. Upon arrival you will enjoy a guided tour this ancient magnificent city built by Diocletian in 305 AD. You will visit the seafront promenade and Roman Emperor Diocletian’s Palace. The historical center of the city is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site. Your evening is free to explore the city. B L
After breakfast you will be transferred to Split airport or your Split hotel. B
