I am pleased to offer a new destination, Serbia. I have created a unique cultural and educational itinerary. Serbia is renowned for its diversity and hospitality. It is a land of rich history with an abundance of monuments dating back from ancient times to the Middle Ages, magnificent medieval Orthodox monasteries and architecture from Ottoman and Austro-Hungarian Period. The tour will be based in Belgrade and Novi Sad. Visits are planned museums, local monuments, magnificent Serbian Orthodox Churches and hillside monasteries. In Belgrade you will enjoy a walking tour of this vibrant city. Included, Belgrade Fortress with a beautiful view on confluence of Sava to Danube River, lovely squares, the National Museum and University. You will visit Nicola Tesla Museum. While in Novi Sad you will experience a walking tour of the city. A visit is planned to Fortress of Petrovaradin located on the Danube. These cities are bustling hubs where you can immerse yourself in the arts, architecture and cafe culture. Serbians have been producing wines for centuries. Taste Serbian wine at two wineries. Serbia known its cuisine, local specialties and nightlife.

Breakfast. Departure for Novi Sad. Our first visit will be to visit the tiny town of Kovacica known for its colorful and Naïve art. Continue to Novi Sad. Your tour will begin with a visit to Petrovaradin Fortress built by the Austrians in the 17 th cen. on the banks of the Danube River. Lunch on your own. Afternoon walking tour of the center of the city you will see Dunavska and Zmaj Jovina Street the city's pedestrian zone, the City Hall, Catholic Church, old city center, Synagogue and city beach. Late afternoon and evening are at leisure to explore the city and perhaps enjoy the local cuisine. Overnight Novi Sad. B
Breakfast. Departure for Subotica. City walking tour to include an architectural tour of this city’s magnificent Art Nouveau buildings. Lunch on your own. After lunch depart for Fantast Castle, one of the most famous castles in the Austro-Hungarian Monarchy. Learn about the history of the castle, chapel and gardens. Return to Novi Sad. Explore Novi Sad and possibly experience the local cuisine. Overnight Novi Sad. B
Breakfast. Departure for of Fruška Gora, a Serbian National Park with 17 functioning monasteries well known for production some of Serbia’s finest wine. These Serbian Orthodox monasteries were built in the 16th through 18th centuries. A visit is planned to three most important monasteries. Our journey will continue to the beautiful town of Sremski Karlovci a gem of Serbian culture and spirituality. Enjoy tasting local production of wine. Lunch included in a local restaurant before our walking tour. The Sremski Karlovci is a real “Museum Town” featuring sites such as a Baroque city center, Cathedral of St Nicolas Church, Saint Trinity Church, also the first Serbian school built in 1881. Your guide will introduce you to the past and the present capital, Kalemagdan Fortress at the confluence of the Slava and Danube Rivers, Saint Sava Temple the city’s largest church, Republic Square and Mihajlova Street, the Old and the New palace, Parliament, and the National Museum. You can visit the National Museum during your free time. Free time for lunch on your own. After lunch visit is planned to the Nicola Tesla Museum. Overnight Belgrade. B
Breakfast. Boat tour of Belgrade. This morning you will explore Belgrade by boat. Big war island, Little war island, Kalemegdan fortress, Nebojsa’s tower, the Confluence of the Sava to the Danube Rivers, Pančevo Bridge, Zemun, the Port of Belgrade, Brankov Bridge, Old Sava Bridge and St. Sava Temple. Remainder of day is at leisure to explore Belgrade, shop or possibly visit museums. Dinner in a Serbian Restaurant with local specialties and music. Overnight Belgrade. B D

Breakfast. Morning departure for Topola. Our first visit will be to St George church with the splendid iconostasis known for its meticulous carvings. We will continue to Oplenac Hill with the complex belonging to the Serbian Royal Dynasty where we visit the most unique church in the world, the church of St. George. The interior is covered with 40 million pieces of glass mosaics in 15,000 different shades of colors. Continue to the house of King Peter the 1st with family items and Karadjordje house with his personal items and his church. Our tour will commence with a visit to the Royal wine cellar which is now wine museum. You will have the opportunity to taste and purchase Royal wines from Royal vineyards.
