November 22 (Wednesday)

Arrival from European flights to Zagrab. Transfer to your Spa Hotel Sotelia in Olimia Slovenia.

November 23 (Thursday)

Breakfast. Spend your day thoroughly relaxing in the mineral water of one of Slovenia’s finest Thermal Spas. The spa is fed by underground and natural hot spring water. The water does not have a sulphur odor. The huge pool complex has indoor/outdoor pools and a large wall of windows opening up to the outdoor area. There are many separate tubs of varying temperatures and jets/bubbles along with a large “Rain Forest” shower incorporated into the indoor pool. Upstairs you can experience several, saunas and steam rooms. A multitude of spa treatments are available. (at reasonable additional cost). After spending your day totally relaxed enjoy a buffet dinner in the hotel. Perhaps walk the beautiful grounds of the hotel after dinner.

November 24 (Friday)

Breakfast. Departure for morning visit to the Neanderthal Museum in Krapina Croatia. Be sure to bring your passport today. Krapina prehistoric man was discovered in 1899. The creators of the museum worked to bring a better understanding of the people of Krapina from the Stone Age, who lived in this location 125,000 years ago. Discoveries in this location are some of the richest Palaeolithic habitats of Neanderthals in Croatia and Europe. Drive back to Slovenia to visit the Rogaska Crystal Factory. The Rogaska facility fabricates crystal for companies all over the world including Waterford. You will have the opportunity to experience a glass blowing demonstration and purchase crystal. Then on to a Winery where you will taste Slovenian Wine and enjoy light snacks. Before returning to our hotel we will visit Chocolaterie Olimia where you will be able to purchase locally produced chocolate. A visit is planned to the Olimia Monastery before returning to Hotel Sotelia for dinner. Perhaps join your travel companions in the hotel bar after dinner.

November 25 (Saturday)

Breakfast. Spend your day relaxing in the Slovenian Thermal waters. Perhaps spend time in one of the steam rooms or saunas. Or book a spa treatment (at additional cost). Relax and enjoy. Dinner included at the hotel

November 26 (Sunday)

Breakfast. Transfer to Zagreb for your flight to Europe.

Enjoy soaking in the massive indoor and outdoor Orhidelia pools, with circular tubs, water jets and bubbles. Book a multitude of spa treatments (additional cost) during your visit. The tour includes breakfast and dinner.

A day tour is planned to one of the finest Neanderthal Museums in Europe. The museum is located at one of the largest and most significant habitat of Neanderthal prehistoric people who occupied this area over 125,000 years ago during the Stone Age. Our next visit will be to the Rogaska Crystal Factory where many famous named crystal producers are outsourcing their production. You will have the opportunity to purchase crystal in the showroom. Upon our return to Olimia we will stop at a Winery and taste Slovenian Wine. A visit is planned to a Chocolaterie in Olimia to purchase local chocolate. You will visit the 11th Cen. Olimia Monastery with the beautiful Baroque Church before returning to your hotel for dinner.
