January 16 (Friday)

Morning flight from Helsinki to connect to flight to Kittila. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel in Levi where your adventure will begin. Enjoy a welcome dinner your first evening in Levi. (D)

January 17 (Saturday)

After breakfast we will walk over to Perhi Snowmobile Safari. You will get dressed and outfitted for your snowmobile adventure and reindeer safari. You will keep your warm suit for the duration of your tour. Please bring your driver’s license. You will drive or ride your snowmobile through beautiful snow-covered forests and over frozen lakes to the reindeer farm. Before our reindeer sleigh ride, we will take a break and have a cup of coffee or hot chocolate at the farmhouse. You will experience a ride in a reindeer sleigh and see many generations of reindeer including this year’s babies. There will be many photo opportunities!! This evening you will experience a special Sami Ceremony in a Kota (Lapish Tepee) with a shaman dressed in traditional Sami costume. You will hear ancient Sami songs (Joiku) and be guided through an interesting ceremony of the indigenous people (B)

January 18 (Sunday)

After breakfast you will visit the SnowVillage about a half 45-minute drive from Levi. The entire structure is created with blocks ice. Enjoy viewing the carvings, soup lunch at the village. Afternoon is free to enjoy the winter wonderland in Levi village. Upon your return you can relax swim in the indoor swimming pool, experience a Finnish Sauna. Equipment rental for cross-country, downhill skiing and snowshoeing is available in Levi village. Perhaps take the gondola to mid mountain and enjoy the spectacular view. The restaurant has fabulous hot chocolate. Enjoy exploring Levi. Visit shops, restaurants and the grocery markets. (L/B)

January 19 (Monday)

After breakfast we will take the gondola to mid mountain to the visit the Samiland Museum. The museum is under the patronage of UNESCO. Our guide will share with the lifestyle and culture of the last remaining indigenous people in Europe. Early evening we will take a short drive to Maria’s Husky Dog Farm for Husky Safari. You will have the opportunity to observe the very special racing dogs. These dogs participate in the Scandinavian equivalate of the Alaskan Iditarod. Enjoy the great adventure of driving your dog sled over a frozen lake into the woods. Experience amazing scenery and hopefully the Northern Lights under a magnificent blanket of stars! Maria will share her beautiful wooden Kota where she will serve warm drinks, and you can roast sausage. (B)

January 20 (Tuesday)

After breakfast transfer to Kittila for your flight to Helsinki to connect to your flight to Europe.

Finnair has a flight scheduled from Frankfurt FRA at approximately 11:30 AM on Friday January 16, 2026, to Helsinki HEL on Finnair. The flight connects to Kittila (KTT) and you will arrive at 6:00PM. The return flight on Tuesday January 20, 2025, departs Kittila KTT at approximately 1:30 and connects to in Helsinki for your afternoon flight to Europe. The earlier you book your flights the less expensive the cost of the ticket. Additionally, Finnair operates Munich/Helsinki/Kittila.
