December 27, 2019 (Friday)

Breakfast. Panoramic tour of Tel Aviv and visit to Jaffa where we will visit Saint Peter’s Church (Simon the Tanner) and the artist quarters of Jaffa, continuing on the Via Maris Road to Haifa, on Mount Carmel. Afterwards we’ll visit the church of Stella Maris and enjoy the beautiful panoramic view over the city of Haifa. On to Cana of Galilee to see the site of the beginning of the public ministry of Jesus, then on to Nazareth where we shall visit the church of Annunciation and Joseph’s Church. Dinner, overnight Tiberias.

December 28 (Saturday)

Breakfast. This morning we will visit the Mount of Beatitudes, where the Sermon of the Mount was taught. Continue to Tabgah, the site of the primacy of Simon Peter, then on to Capernaum, the city that Jesus ultimately chose as the center of his public ministry. Before returning to our hotel, a brief stop at the Jordan River. Dinner and overnight Tiberias.

December 29, 2019 (Sunday)

Breakfast. Departure for the Jordan Valley by way of Jericho where we will have a view of the Mount of Temptations (Quarantal) and the wilderness of Judea. Then on to the Masada, a natural fortress built by King Harrod above the Dead Sea in the Judean Desert. Masada was the last stand of nearly 1,000 Jewish men, women and children who decided to commit suicide as free people, rather than fall into the hands of the Romans. On to the Dead Sea (weather permitting) for a dip in the very salty waters. We will ascend to Jerusalem via the Good Samaritan’s Inn. Arrival Jerusalem and commemoration of Jesus’ Triumphal Entry. Dinner, overnight Jerusalem.

December 30, 2019 (Monday)

Breakfast. This morning you will have a panoramic tour of the New City of Jerusalem, visiting the Wailing Wall and the Temple of the Mount, with a view of the Dome of the Rock Mosque. Then on to the Mount of Olives, Pater Noster, Ascension Church, and Dominus Flevit, as well as the Garden of Gethsemane, the church of All Nations and the Grotto of the Disciples and enjoy a view of the Shepard’s Gardens. Return to Jerusalem for overnight and Dinner.

December 31, 2019 (Tuesday)

Breakfast. Departure for the Mount of Zion where we will visit the Dormition Church, the Upper Room and King David’s tomb. This afternoon we will walk the length of the Way of the Cross from St. Stevens gate, by way of the Bethesda Pools, the Litostrotos, and XIV stations of the Via Dolorosa on to the Basilica of the Holy Sepulcher, visiting the church and commemorating the resurrection of Jesus. Return to our hotel. Dinnerand overnight Jerusalem. Celebrate New Year’s Eve in Jerusalem!

Breakfast. Morning visit to the Israel Museum. Enjoy a panoramic view of the Parliament (Knesset), the Hebrew University, and then on the Ein Karem, place of birth of John the Baptist. Our day will end with a visit to the Holocaust Museum. Dinner,overnight Jerusalem.

Departure for Airport on your own for return flights to Europe and the US.
